Ambassador A. Kumža awarded Lithuania's Diplomacy Star
On 28 June, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius conferred Lithuania's Diplomacy Star on the President of the Lithuanian Ambassadors' Club Algirdas Kumža.
The Ambassador A. Kumža was awarded the Foreign Ministry’s highest award of honor for his outstanding role in presiding over the Club during the last four years.
"We really appreciate all of your hard work you have done. You consistently bring your all and I truly appreciate that. I would like to sincerely thank you once again on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and myself," said the Minister L. Linkevičius.
A.Kumža is the founder and President of the Lithuanian Ambassadors' Club. The Club was founded in November 2014, with the aim of building and strengthening the Lithuanian diplomacy and its traditions, perpetuating diplomatic history, and sharing experiences with younger generations. The club brings together 109 incumbent, former, and retired Lithuanian Ambassadors from all over the world and from Lithuania.
