Lithuanian Life Sciences presented in Siena
Ambassador of Lithuania Mr. R. Slepavicius met with representatives of Toscana Life Sciences and presented the biggest Life Sciences fair in Northern Europe – Life Sciences Baltics 2018 – which will be held this autumn in Vilnius.
On January 17 during a visit to Siena, Tuscany, Mr. Slepavicius discussed the cooperation between Lithuanian and Italian companies and scientists in the development of medical, biotechnology research and production technologies.
During the meeting with Toscana Life Sciences Ambassador highlighted the growing potential of Lithuanian businesses and scientists and underlined the favourable conditions for foreign companies to expand their activities in Lithuania.
“The expertise of Lithuanian companies and researchers are fully recognized at international level – large pharmaceutical, research companies relocate part of their activities to Lithuania, and discoveries of Lithuanian scientists substantially contribute to the worldwide development of Life Sciences” – said the Ambassador.
